A very cool looking prerelease Sega Saturn.

PSX: has shitty 2D capabilities, shitty 3D capabilities, not enough memory for either, the controller design is shit, overall build quality = ultra cheap, has like 10 - 15 decent games, nothing truly outstanding. They had a great marketing run. So in return the console is a pleb magnet for the double digit club. Sony should have called it the plebstation from the get go.

Saturn: has very solid 2D capabilities, shitty 3D, the controller is the greatest joypad of all time, the build quality and design of the console is very satisfying, has superior ports
of some of the greatest arcade games of all time. The Saturn is the hardcore gamers choice. SEGA has successfully proven that you cannot make a living on hardcore gamers alone.

n64/ultra64: Greatly over promised, as in two x 64Bit cpu system for 99$, and ultimately under delivered. This was the biggest joke of the nineties and single handedly put nintendos 90's reign to an end. Shitty 3D, 2D nowhere to be seen, and an abysmal controller make this one a total disappointment.

Bottom line: Saturn > PSX > n64

Best looking must be the prerelease Sega Saturn. It's just gorgeous.
The ugliest one in my opinion is probably the Jaguar, especially with the CD attachment or the Atari Lynx. Atari pretty much lost it with console casings after the 7800.
