Easy to make, sure. Easy to make and have it look nice? That's a different story, pic very related. Also, the inside of the board is a mess. You should de-solder the old chip and just straight solder the new chip to the board. Less messy, and the less wires involved the less of a chance that it ends up getting knocked loose or just straight up not working after a while.
