I have SD2SNES, N8 Everdrive and Everdrive 64 for a while now.

Not sure how someone can say it's emulated since it's the rom that plays through a board which connected to the original system.

Every game I've played looks fine (using CRT as well). I've even done a few comparisons with the few original games I do have, no difference from what I can see.

The advantages are just too much to not own one. It's much nicer to have a single cartridge that you use and never need to take out there after. This prevents over usage from pulling out a cart for every game.

They also have features like game genie if you're into that.

There is no clutter to deal with since all you will need is the TV/System and place to put away extra joysticks.

Having access to every game through roms is also more sensible than tossing your money at resellers who will charge for profit.

Game hacks work great and are a joy to play through the original system. Not to mention translated games that were never released in north america.

The N8 also plays FDS roms with auto disk flipping so you get access to even more games without need for software.

Many game roms have also been altered to work with the everdrive. like Castlevania 3, so you wont miss out on much at all.

The pure convenience of going through a list of games on screen and starting it up with a push of a button is so much better than looking through a wall of games that cost way more than should have been spent.

Lastly, girls may enjoy playing old games when they come over. They may think it's fucking awesome that you have this little set up in the corner of your place. But most won't think it's cool that you need an entire room to house that crap if you are buying cart after cart after cart. Not to mention the money you save in the long run.

Now if you don't mind, I'm off to continue my game of Zelda Outlands.
