bump because i too am interested in this subject and want to play house of the dead 1 and 2 with no crt but with accuracy i have a huge hdtv in the living room that supports composite but i dont want to move around my computer tower just to use the sindel lightgun

so i did more research based on your post and thank you you're completely right there are some light guns that are completely the same as the arcade version. now my new problem ive found besides actually finding the light guns and dc/saturn is even though my hdtv in the living room takes composite cables it won't work with the game i need an actual crt. you've got me one step closer though thanks again ill keep looking into it
