I picked up my non-wifi RK2023 yesterday for the first time in a while and damn, it's just a really great handheld innit? Perfect shape, small size and lightweight, huge face buttons imo the best + the best inline shoulders, best screen I've seen on a 3.5" device, shockingly loud and nice sounding speakers for the size/price segment (tho I'm pretty sure 2S audio is the new champ). i even find the d-pad to be great and super tactile/precise feeling, but this seems to be really polarizing based on how sensitive your thumbs are to the "edge". I guess I'm lucky in that I don't feel it when playing.

corposlop is slow and stagnant. We've had about a billion years already to discuss the ones that are actually interesting, and options are overall pretty limited. meanwhile, chinks are constantly coming out with new handhelds in a ton of different form factors, control configurations, power profiles, screen aspect ratios, size, weight, colors, etc etc. They're also just in a completely different dimension when it comes to the emulation experience.
