There is no creativity due to the simple fact that it is by derivative by design, they've taken the original artists work and created a facsimile without the rough edges and lack of polish of the original. By doing so the essence of what made it special is lost, It's "soul".

As pretentious as it sounds you don't improve the works of the great masters by "touching them up"; you ruin them.

The visual distinction between the confederate terran and the dominion terran is lost and replaced with a shiny veneer of samey mannequins, Edmund Duke no longer looks like a decrepit, bitter, ignorant old man who has seen countless battles, Raynor no longer has the face of a country bumpkin with little experience but instead more like his starcraft 2 counterpart despite not feeling the sting of betrayal and lost love yet. I could go on but im sure I've made my point. It's clean, it's safe, it's what a modern audience expects. It's not made for the original fans
