Personally I like them pixelated far more, but I never liked CRTs and always wanted a better monitor that could show the games cleanly like on a gameboy or gb color.

I have a soft spot for Tomb Raider.

I was doing some work for Nelvana in the early 00's, but it was quite a commute from where I was living at the time. Some days it was hours snd hours of commute for a less than five minute meeting. But I didn't care too much because all my time was covered. Most if that was spent on or waiting for trains abd having a GBC was wonderful. It's where I played most of DQ 1-3 as well as MGS Ghost Babel l which I still consider excellent as well as some others.

Tomb Raider GBC really stands out though. It's like Prince of Persia but with better structure. I had a shocking amount of fun with that game.

I did enjoy it, then I enjoyed the color when it came out. It was all awesome to me.

Tomb Raider on GBC is interesting. TR is like Prince of Persia in 3D, so it ends up being like a TR themed PoP game in some ways. Getting lost can get easy in later levels because they get huge and everything looks so similar. But other than that it's a fun game if you're into that sort of thing.

Tomb Raider GBC is pretty great actually.

No, but I haven't played any of the Banjo games. Not really my thing. But I actually thought the GBC version of Tomb Raider was an interesting interpretation. But obviously completely different.
