PSPgo's seem to be a bit overpriced on ebay, probably because they're seen more as collector's items now. I'd say go with a Vita because even the 2000s with the LCD screens have better screens than the PSP, and the Vita can nearly perfectly emulate PSP and PSX games as well as play Vita games. That being said, sniping PSP's for a low cost on ebay (potentially for half the price of a typical Vita 2000) is quite easy and Vitas have jumped in price because of jewtubers.
TL;DR: If you have the money, get a vita, if you don't, get a psp.
