Most STG stories end with you saving the world with only 1 or 2 air/space craft. That's very optimistic compared to the few that just decide 'fuck that' and show you an ending like THIS as your reward.

Metal Black has two endings and both are pretty bleak. The one you get for a 1cc is... Really something though.

Metal Black is pretty much the Evangelion of shoot em ups. You have to 1cc it to see the mindfuck ending though and it's rather difficult.
