So I've been playing PS2 games over Parsec with a friend, and I was thinking "hey, maybe PS1 has good co-op games" - and nope.

Seriously. There's really not that many. Vigilante 8 and Twisted Metal are as good as it gets, but what sucks is that those PS1 car combat games are just inferior versions of games that are better on PS2 like the Twisted Metal games.

Was the PS1 just not capable of handling two players at the same time doing PVE? Because there's definitely a lot of PVP sports games and stuff. Even the N64 has a decent selection of co-op games like Battletanx, Hexen, Duke Nukem 3D, Perfect Dark, Diddy Kong Racing, etc
