did anyone have any success building a VGA to SCART cable and use the Delock 62967 DP to VGA adapter to hook up an RGB capable TV to a pc?
im in the process of building one and while i was able to solder all the connections on the VGA end with no shorts im already facing the problem that i cant fit the plug into its housing anymore. reason for that is probably the choice of cables. the guide at
[ geocities dot ws/podernixie/htpc/cables-en.html ]
says to use 75 ohm cables and talks about inner and outer conductors. its obvious the guide talks about coaxial cables but they are incredibly difficult to work with. the standard sized ones are obviously not an option because they are way to big. im using a 2.5mm diameter mini coaxial cable and its a chore to work with.
im considering just buying a prebuilt cable if i just were to find someone selling one.
