No LS? That's my main melee weapon as well. What a shame. Inventory shenanigans sound pretty brutally rough as well. Still, hopefully it's good enough that you enjoy it even with such flaws and I'll do the same once I buy a copy.

I have. I first played it on a 52 in 1 cart my aunt had. I'm really fond of the original Goonies game, the the size of the sprites and the level layouts always struck a really adventurous feeling to me. I don't think I've ever found all of the overpowered equipment in that game but I still have fun with it.
