I LOVE forbidden memories, it's my go to game when I don't know what to play. But I don't think it's underrated, it's very popular on rom sites, it's always on Top 10 with millions of downloads.

I'm glad someone mentioned Saiyuki. I'm currently grinding in this game because I'm garbage at TRPGs but I'm loving every minute of it. My favorite chinese tale, solid characters, art by my favorite japanese artist, awesome soundtrack.
