/vr/ - Retro Games

-Master System needed a pause button on the controller.

-Nintendo's contractual hoarding of third-party developers is the only reason Master System Failed.

-The Hornet from Daytona USA should have been a hidden unlockable car in the Sega GT series of games, just with simulated stock car handling and listed as a "Chevy Lumina", they also should have had courses from Daytona USA, Virtua Racing, and Scud Race.

-Most Saturn games are far too short. Although that probably has more to do with limited storage space on a CD-ROM than anything else.

-3DO/PSX/Saturn/SegaCD Road Rash was best Road Rash

-Although I like games that encourage exploration, I never really cared for Myst.

- Although Sega Saturn was one of the most underrated consoles ever while in production, now it seems to be becoming a bit over rated as it nears its 20's.

-The original Xbox had some pretty good gems for it. It'll be interesting to see how perception of the retro game community becomes of it as it ages. I will say though, that the things seem to become senile with age and remaining units may not have very many years ahead of them.

-RE Code:Veronica is my favorite of the series.

-Blue Stinger wasn't as shitty of a game as most people made it out to be. I actually enjoyed playing it. Not bad for a DC launch title.

-XBox 360 D-pad sucks for playing old 2D games.

-Nintendo's decision to forgo Sony's CD add-on for the Super Famicom is the absolute worst one they've ever made. Pissing off Sony in that manner is ultimately what's going to kill their console business. Sega was also foolish not to partner with them after Nintendo's dissing. If they had, there'd probably still be consoles with the Sega name on them.

-Sega should have partnered more with Microsoft than they had during DC era.

-I absolutely love the 32X, but that doesn't change the fact the loveable little mushroom wasn't a redundant piece of hardware.

-Driving Emotion Type S is an unplayable turd of a driving game.
