I bought a psx when it was new, just so I could barely use it. I was too busy with work. I still played it, but not like I wanted lol.

It was a PSX to me. Playstation took too many syllables. No one I knew called it a Playstation. New releases came out for the PSX. PsOne is the little white thing. PSX is the fat grey system.

I think they knew what they were doing. It is hard to find info on the internet because of the name changes. I have a few scph 1001. Google playstation. Try Playstation one. Try any variation. Now PSX is some ps2 in japan....

This is no different than this new xbox being named something that I used to search for for my old Original Xbox (formerly the Xbox one).
