What's the best retro DBZ game?
For me, it's Super Butouden 3

This is true, I remember in my country they could be bought 1 at a time in the grocery store. They were officially licensed, though.
I guess Bandai used their existing stock of characters that appeared on Super Butoden 2 and released a set promoting the game.
I wonder if any other retro DBZ game got the same treatment.
I remember in the 90s there were some bootleg DBZ toys, and some of them were actually pretty cool, never knew if they were bootlegged from official merch.
Pic related is an original figure of the Super Battle collection (imo still the most iconic line of DBZ toys, pic related is such an iconic fig), but the ones I'm talking about weren't bootlegs of the SBC line, they were a bit bigger, and rubber material instead of plastic.

So, who is the best character in Super Butoden 2?
Goku and Broly have the strongest attacks, but characters like Gohan, while not as strong, are faster and more maneuverable.

Anyway, most westerners that played japanese retro DBZ games was through emulators on PC.

It's not, as wRPGs are still discussed here, lurk more.
But if you're gonna bitch about japanese culture on a fucking chan, I recommend you read the history of 4chan.
Also, while the founder of 4chan is American, the current owner is japanese (no less than the old admin of 2ch, where moot got the idea).
So basically 4chan is currently a japanese website.
