I'm thinking going with the cheaper 109xi may have something to do with it in part.
Again, getting a SCART cable and region switching may fix the issue. My head is just killing me to much to do anything else tonight.

I'm using the interface for the same purpose at the moment(sync processing) and am already planning on using it with the DC should I ever get my hands on a MultiFormat PVM. It also seems to give a slightly cleaner image from the laptop to the Megaview with RGsB than the VGA to 5BNC cable I bought.

If I manage to get my VSC working, that's great, but I'm certainly not in a rush to buy another one or anything.

>I also tried using a VSC unit to convert 480i to 240p but it didn't look right, it was extremely flickery and only half the screen had scanlines for some reason.
Not sure if I'm misunderstanding you, but the VSC won't give you 240p, only 480i. You take that 480i and use the Interface to get your pseudo-240p.
I'm just paraphrasing fudoh at this point, so I'm not going to say anything else on the matter.

Edited your image to better show what I'm dealing with; Didn't feel like getting an image for all the RCA to BNC and BNC to RCA adapters I've got tossed in there, but know just know there's something like 10 of them in use, as well as a VGA couple and a single RCA extender like in yours.
