>Every single fight sucked and the story was really dumb
How do you exactly adapt a video game "story" about a martial arts tournament for the so-called "combat waitresses" and not make it dumb? Even Mortal Kombat, which is deemed the "best vidya movie evar" is quite dumb when it comes to adapting the story of its source material. Turning a fighting game into an animated show or movie is always a pain in the ass story-wise.
>all the girls were hot and the fanservice was mostly good
Well, the same artist worked on the OVA, which helps a lot. Pic related.

>Keeping everything else the same but simply having a complex clothing damage algorithm would make it a lot better.
>But if there's ever a revival make it 3D like DOA and do the clothing damage thing.
C'mon, TGL, do it. There's money to be made out there!

All the restaurants are spoofs of real-life ones. And bold spoofs at that - we all know those off-brand "WcDonald's" in various anime, right? Well, in V.G., Yuka's restaurant is called Hanna Miller's, while the real thing was Anna Miller's. And she also wears the exact same uniform, yet nobody gave a shit about copyright infringement or something.

Here's some sketchwork of Yuka from V.G. inb4 it's from the anime OVA - yeah yeah, I know, but it was the same artist who pretty much repeated his designs from the game and added some new ones
