Quake 2 gets boring after a while.
The inconsistent mashup is a actually part of the charms for me.

Second, the current state of Doom is not as good as it seems.Why? Bethesda,simple.

Look at their track record since the release of Fallout 76.
The latter is an abomination.
Rage 2 is mediocre and not nearly as exciting as they make it out to be.
Wolfenstein Youngblood is microtransaction bullshit and grinding garbage.
Quake Champions is slowly dying,never got the time to truly shine.
Now we a lot of us fear for Eternal,because Bethesda might interfere and make up for all this big fuck ups with some of their "touch".
