Old Falcom is absolutely worth getting into, and some of the best oldies got remade.

Dragon Slayer and Romancia are some of the company's worst titles, and Yoshio Kiya (programmer/director on both) made sure never to put out anything so unpolished afterward. Xanadu must have been a freak accident coming from him during that period; from Sorcerian onward he and his co-workers mostly did better.

They were happy pumping out comedy/SOL CD dramas for Popful Mail, though. I'm hoping for a remake/sequel one day.
