I grew up with Link's Awakening and a gameboy instead of SNES so I have zero nostalgia for ALTTP.

Having said that ALTTP was a fine game to play through but I mainly disliked the general art style, link's pink hair, the googly eye look of some characters. LA's art style was cooler to look at mainly because it was probably done by different artists and done in a smaller resolution. Link's sprite in particular looks more compact and serious with a pinch of innocence.

It's irrational nostalgia at it's finest, but it's not insane to prefer other zelda games over alttp.
