Not putting her on a pedestal, it's just you're acting like she's a bad unit when she's not. People aren't accepting your arguments because they're bad. You've been ranting about Sarah on /vr/ for years now. If you don't want people arguing with you over it, don't post it so much.

As far as overrated or not, Sarah might be a bit overrated to the extent that some people online have exaggerated and called her the best unit when Peter is clearly the best. And you can argue about whether calling her better than the other healers is overrating her (this random tier list for example). But she's still somewhere in the upper end rather than a poor unit. Someone like Slade (while strong) takes much more babysitting.

Keep in mind items too, if you want you can give Vicar Sarah a goddess staff (or multiple staves) for 0 MP Aura 2 casting. Gets you lots of experience and you can repair them for free using the caravan.

There's some other things in her favor. She also does more damage than the other healers. Even as a Vicar she has decent attack, while Karna gains nothing as a Vicar. Sheela's stats are pretty poor compared to the other Monks.

Slow is a better spell than Boost
"Boost/Slow gives +/-37.5% Def and Agi on the 1st turn ,25% the 2nd and 12.5% the 3rd The change in Agi can get you 2 turns in a row but as you pay the Agi back, the turn order can swap back at a bad time netting them 2 turns but with Slow nothing is going to live for long as units like Janet will deal real damage and gain more exp."

All this is just nitpicking for fun anyway, it's an easy enough game (even on Super) that none of it matters much.
