Interesting info. I recently bought a Sega CD and it's not so bad so far.
Worst game by far is Dungeon Master: Skull Keep. I might go back and play it more once I get a ram cart but I deleted the save to make a Shining Force one.

At first I thought the game was like Might and Magic 1 where you move one screen at a time through a 2D world and get in random encounters.
Once I fought my first battle and exited the cave I saw it was actually running at 1fps best. It's incredibly hard to chase down moving enemies when there is a load in-between each step. The rain and lighting effects are kind of neat (except for the 1 fps part).

It's a CRT that I got from my sister. Right now I am looking for something with S-Video out. Text is really hard to read.
At first I thought this game was just showing one still image at a time until I got outside and saw it was raining and thundering. It actually runs at less than 1 FPS.
