I need a complete joystick module replacement and not the garbage ones with bullshit sensitivity. I mean actual n64 sensitivity

Should I just buy a Hori?

Got me a n64 with tons of my favorite games. The guy sold me 2 controllers: one with a replace GC joystick and one he said was the original stuff with a good joystick. (wich he probably used some shitty fix since the joystick is stiff as all fucks and no fun to use at all.)

Thing is, fps games or anything that requires joystick aiming is fucking impossible with my controllers. The GC one aims all over the place and has little deadzone by nature, and the other one is just too shitty.

What do you guys use when you play stuff like starfox? Is there a way I can ''fix'' something up?

Is there a good wireless N64 controller?

> I cant play using controller because I sucks at aiming

I can headshot enemys easily with auto aim OFF, just check your analog condition, after beating Turok 1 you get really good at moving and aiming with the superior best controller ever made

There's no denying that Super Mario 64 and Goldeneye are massively influential games, but that controller...

Just watch until some other memer decides to sperg out about how the N64 controller requires 3 hands to hold.

Who started out that joke anyways? There was no question that the controller was held like pic related.

N64 is unintuitive, but once you figure out how to hold it it's one of the comfiest pads around

Pic related makes me feel like I'm manhandling some guy's schlong while I play a video game.

And fucking blisters.

I've been using this controller for ever 64 game I've played
While I'm somewhat used to it, the feel of modern controllers has made going back to it feel really awkward in comparison
Are there any 3rd party alternatives with a more comfortable layout?
I know of the Hori Mini Pad but that costs a bit much

Just re-emphasising that the RPG genre was not a focus for Nintendo ack then. The controller was meant for first-person and third-person platformers and action/FPS. /vr/ has had this discussion before, but I personally couldn't even hold the controller correctly because of big hands.
