>some of the best Valkyrie designs in VF-11C, VF-17D, Fire Valk, even the enemy jets are cool
>varied set of songs that each represent a watershed moment in the series
>solid animation for key moments
>great voice acting
>fantastic friendship between Gamlin and Basara
The only real flaw is that the episodic battles relied too much on stock footage.
