There's a lot of them. They are not robust guns by any means, but as long as you don't shoot anything heavier than 124gr the frame should not crack. The extractor is a part that doesn't hold up well either, I think that you can find replacements for those at Numrich Gunparts.
The old Interdynamics guns (before the company folded and was bought and renamed Intratec), are far less rattly, less cheap plastic, sights are always straight, etc. As those are more collectible, especially the original open-bolt KG9 pistols (which were probably not illegally converted as often as people say they were), expect to pay a lot more for them. Extractors are still a weak point on these, however.

That is if you really insist on shooting them a bunch, this strikes me more as the kind of gun you wouldn't shoot much, and instead get because it's just interesting, and maybe just shoot a little bit on odd occasion. I can think of a lot of oversized 9mm pistols that take large magazines, and which are much better performers and far less fragile, even ones which have that cool looking vented shroud over the barrel, or something similar.

I agree with your point that testosterone deficiency is really unhealthy for men.

>Half of them are made by guys in their garage, or made under the table at sheet metal or paintball gun factories.
They were made by Intratec in their factory, using cheap plastic, zinc alloy castings, and cheap steel, anything else that I'm aware of is very small scale (and illegal) stuff done by other people way after they went out of business. The original KG-9 and KG-99 pistols from Interdynamics were made better, but they always had a brittle extractor design, were always picky with ammo, and always had trash magazines.

They do have a pretty cool aesthetic to them though.
