I'm not really looking for that though, unless people want to just dump any good retro games here.
The /v/ recommended games wiki includes some games for older consoles and there's that old DOS games list floating around (pic related) but I figured /vr/ might have something more comprehensive.

Has anyone else ever had a problem with sticking to and finishing games? I'm not sure if it's an actual mental problem I'm having or if I'm just spoiled by the low skill/high reward games of the modern day.

If you had this issue, how did you solve it? I've been starting lots of games, enjoying them for a bit, and then moving on to others.

OP, I've tried finding something like that for the last couple years. I know old people have to have them laying around. But it's like it's too late to get them. They've gone from junk to valuable because most of them were destroyed or recycled. Now there are tons of pentiums and shit available still, but 386 and 486 just seem unattainable if you don't want to spend a few hundred dollars on eBay or something.
So I search Craigslist. You're lucky to get that thing. Have fun!

Hello /vr/iends. I've come with a predicament.

I really enjoy collecting retro games and everything about it. However, lately I've been hopping between so many different games and acquiring so many that I haven't been able to sit down and enjoy the experience like I remember doing as a child.

Is there any way to get back into the mindset of playing a game through to the end before moving on? Do I just have to deal with it?
