1cc runs aren't the intended goal of a well designed arcade experience any more than stamp collecting is the point of stamps. That said, I can manage MS1, 2 and X 1cc runs simply because I've been playing them occasionally for nearly 30 years, though I admit it's unlikely I'll ever manage it in MS3.

What game has the the best sprite-work in your opinion?

Some shooters like dodonpachi have great explosions but they get a little repetitive. Nothing beats metal slug in terms of detail, just say metal slug thread senpai.
