USB to TLL adapters using PL2303 and CH340G are confirmed to work, like pic related. Might as well order one that comes with the jumper wires.
You can find where your DAS port is in the service manual or general DAS manual from Sony. Should be easy to spot anyways when you open it up, it's usually 4 pins. Some very rare models use I2C instead, but I don't think yours is one, check before ordering though.
