Dude, that's fucking sick! I love it. Be sure to use the palette guide I posted >>2523319 when converting to SNES format. Also when defining the X and Y coordinates, use the top left corner of a walking frame as the origin if possible.

Looking forward to adding in the squish state. I've been kicking around how I want to do general hitbox collision with the boxes, but the problem is a little tricky on a torus, and I am still working on it. I'll post results as soon as I get them.
