I won't make defenses for the "story" but I think the game has some nice atmosphere. The stages are all very lived in and great and the way it tracks your player on the map screen as you travel the city is cool. Wilder is dumb though.

Nothing went wrong. It's great. It simply doesn't play like a traditional 2D fighter. If you try to go in and play it like Street Fighter or Fatal Fury you're missing the point entirely. It's got it's own flow and pace and if you can get into that mind set the game is a lot of fun. It's almost like a 2D 3D fighter.
