I was going to secure them to the monitor casing, but after considering the complications associated with speakers when swapping to and from tate mode (or if I decide not to use them at some point, eg. if they sound like shit)- it's probably better they're not fixed to the thing. So until such time I can be assed designing my own custom stand I'll probably chuck them in boxes to sit alongside the monitor.

To wit, I'm gonna drill a hole in the backside of the 3D printed casing and mount either a 1/4" stereo connector or paired RCA sockets in there, hook those up internally to the speaker output, and then I have a clean-looking and robust solution no matter what happens.
