Because celebrities are the most narcissistic class of people who think they can never be wrong because they are surrounded by throngs of yes-men constantly telling them how great they are. This has really been brought to light this last year when every celebrity has to weigh in on politics like they have any influence over it, because in their deluded minds they think they do.

Okay, that's one guy. Many, many celebrities have come out of the woodwork this last year to reveal their true hateful selves. They get paid to perform on camera and have no business in the government world, but because of their huge egos they think they know everything and can't resist making their idiotic statements known to the world. Anyone can have an opinion, but when you have legions of followers who will blindly climb on board and defend your bullshit, and worse not even checking to see if it's true, it starts to get dangerous. Pic related, she's a goddamn singer and knows nothing about how the government works but that won't stop her from chiming in and thinking she's an expert at politics. Any chance they get to fire a zinger off at the president they latch onto it for dear life. Then you got Madonna making speeches to throngs of roaring fans about blowing up the White House. If any common citizen did that they would be in a black ops Afghani prison right this second.
