As a kid, the sight of these hanging victims (especially the one on the right) was pretty disturbing to me. I always avoided looking at them when I stumbled upon them in a map. One day, though, the one on the right was so close I just couldn't avoid looking at him, and when I noticed that he wasn't static, but trying to move, as if he was still alive even if agonizing, then I pretty much experienced the worst feeling I ever had playing a game.
