Technos only supported Nintendo consoles until a few years just before they went out of business when they did those Neo-Geo games, along with Popeye's Beach Volley on the Game Gear and Geom Cube on PlayStation.

All those Double Dragon and Kunio ports on Sega and NEC consoles and such were actually licensed versions made by other companies, so Technos themselves probably had little choice in the matter regarding which games they choose to convert.

Acclaim were the ones who produced the Double Dragon 3 port on the Genesis and Game Boy.

There was a canceled Kunio-kun beat-'em-up planned for the PlayStation that would have featured Kunio and Riki meeting up Billy and Jimmy in Kowloon, but it never got passed the planning stages. The plans were posted on Yoshihisa Kishimoto's website.

Nope. As far as Nintendo Power coverage is concerned, Super got a preview (>>2378390) and a mini-review (>>2378396) published and that's it. I think they published a cheat too, but I don't know the exact issue.

If it's any consolation, neither did Technos. They called it either, the Kunio-kun series or the Nekketsu series. It doesn't help there's various sub-series within the franchise.
