And now, Blizzard always seems to miss when you want to use it, and it ALWAYS hits when the enemy uses it. It will either freeze or kill one of your Pokemon.

Hyper Beam may have been broken with the no-recharge-after-KO attribute, but it made quite a powerful move. Now it's absolutely useless. Tauros had a great speed to attack ratio, and since crits were based on speed, the better. Now Tauros is barely even remembered.

I also love how GF decided to add fairy type as a new weakness to dragons. As if the fact that almost all dragon types would die in one hit against an ice attack due to their 4x weakness, and the fact that ice attacks could be learned by the majority of Pokemon wasn't a thing. Some Pokemon that were already useless (Sableye) got nerfed as a result.

In short, the earlier games had programming issues. The newer games have serious balance issues.
