I like the controller. The D-pad is great for games like Mischief Makers, Sin & Punishment, and the WWF games. The problem is that eventually with a lot of usage that I got from them, the analog stick is nowhere near as good as they once were, since the "bowl" can get worn down. It would be fine if they'd continue making more, but the current replicas feel cheaper and not as accurate as they did back then.

I meant for DOSbox as I played Wolf3D on DOS. If it was for console/arcade games, I try to find something that would be how it was played, like using dance pads for DDR or an arcade stick for arcade games.

I want those Model Ms, since I really remember that nostalgic metal pang for each keypress. Used to use those but never had one back then. The ones I have are NMB clicky+tactile space invaders and another that is clicky+tactile blue Alps since they were the bargain bin keyboards of the day to the premium IBM ones in school computer labs + workplaces.

The Bliss Box supposedly is a very good converter. I am not sure if it supports the rumble function. My basic converter doesn't.

Why not a N64 to USB converter? I like the standard controller for Mischief Makers. The D-pad is large and nice for the double-tap dashes, and the C-buttons are comfortably small for the right thumb to switch between. The controller is very comfortable in the hands in the D-pad+buttons combination.

It is just a pic for my fans here. I also have stock controllers.

I like my clear orange and clear black N64. I think they released a Gameboy with that color scheme too.

I think the clear orange is nice. But I do have to wash all the dust from it now.

I have not tested the lag on this adapter, but it has a N64 port and PS2(1) port to USB. However, I heard sometime back the only one that works with the Hori Mini 64 controller is the bliss box, which I think you may want to look into. I would love to try one of those out too.

I really cannot afford that, it is no secret.

I flip burgers for barely over minimum wage.

Not at all, I read lots of positive memories of the console's games all the time here on /vr/. Lately though, I've been feeling like Sega Saturn is the most hated, even though it is not, due to many posters having the need to tear it down all the time. As for hated, I would say 2600 too, as it is not ones that get ignored like really early consoles like the Odyssey (due to lack of personal experience with the system), but the more than apathy but actual hatred.

Favorite games are all the usual suspects, you already know them. Starfox 64, Sin & Punshment, WWF No Mercy, Majora's Mask, Ogre Battle 64, Bangaioh, Blast Corps., Waverace, Doom 64, Mischief Makers, Conker's, Beetle Adventure Racing, etc. The highs are really high, the lows are really low. So the highs are no secret.

I think the clear orange/black is a gorgeous color. There's something about clear orange that works. the Dreamcast's Chu Chu Rocket controller is clear orange/clear and it is my most favorite for that system too.

There is something fun with all the clear colors.

I use the adapter pictured, but I do not know about how much lag it introduces. It works fine when I use Project64, and I'm not that picky with N64.

I recently saw a N64 controller on eBay which I have not seen before. A complete in box Toys 'R Us "Jeoffrey" controller which has a sticker of the giraffe in the center, so I bid more than any sane person would at around $15USD (plus the $15 shipping from Japan) for $30 ... and I didn't win. In fact holy shit the price it went for, I can't believe people are so rich, either that or there are some people just pushing the price up then telling the seller "oops, I typed a bid in wrong" making them relist it.
