Yeah, thrift stores are great, and it's pretty fun to see some of the wacky shit that made it to VHS. Just be mindful of mold. Like half the tapes at my local thrift shop are always specked with mold because people stored them in humid attics or basements for decades before selling them. They can be cleaned, but it honestly just isn't worth the trouble for 50 cents.

I've been having a blast looking at my old home movies. My mom must have had a fucking top-of-the line camera because the image on these is crisp as fuck and the tracking is always flawless. It doesn't come across as well in photos because you're only seeing half the interlaced image, but here's us as Disney World in 1988, anyway. I'm the faggot in the Goofy hat.
