"Learning kanji" is unnecessary unless you want or need to be able to write. Just repeatedly expose yourself to the characters through reading, and then over time if you find yourself having trouble recognizing a specific character, THEN you can study it invididually, but studying them all in bulk before you even know any words is honestly stupid and probably 95% of the reason that people usually burn out trying to learn this language.
