Toshinden 1 was neat, but the animation could have been more fluid and the controls had a lot of lag.

Unfortunately the sequels never fixed this, so the series became worse and worse with every new game. Toshinden 3 stands out for being a great party game once you get all the unlocks.

yeah, the story was great too. Story and music really drove the game, as well as character designs. Shame the controls were so fucked, you had like a full second of input lag.

BAT 3 went full crazy with clone characters. Every character had a "clone", a different character with nearly identical moves. This is a pretty cheap way to add new characters, so they did not hold back with the crazy, and as a result you had shit like Michael Jackson vs. Erol Flynn vs. Jason Voorhees vs. Catwoman. It also had single rounds and all arenas were closed boxes, and you got a limited stock of "soul bombs" which just had the character do some kind of explosive aura move. Because of all this, you could do ludicrous wall juggles, something like 30-40 hits. It was tons of fun for a party game when you had everything unlocked.

Toshinden 4 was set after a timeskip, Eiji took the position Gaia had in the first game (he is the final boss, complete with heavy armour and bigass sword), and organizes a new tournament to find 4 holy weapons, with which he could defeat the evil organizations big bosses. The protagonist is Eiji's nephew, Subaru (son of Sho and Cupido, yes, that Cupido), and Kayins step-daughter, these two share moves from the old characters. The rest of the cast was all knew, minus Eiji and Vermillion.

Michael Jackson is only choice.

People forgot about it since then, and now #metoo is at its peak, so they could make a new movie and make it topical. It was a huge deal back in the 90s as well.

Problem is that they are trying to make the movie shock everyone so badly that they don't look behind the fact that the accusations are inconsistent or BS lies. But that doesn't matter, because you can't defend a purported child molestation with silly things like logic, and Jacko can't defend himself anymore because he is dead.

I'm just hoping that in 20 years, once the people interviewed here are dead, another documentary comes out that will talk about how these guys lied about being molested to get a paycheque.
