/vr/ - Retro Games

I really enjoyed RBY despite its faults, mostly just because it was the first game of its kind that I played. However I also like RBY player vs player battling more than later generations.
I didn't have as much fun playing Gold/Silver and didn't bother to buy the gba games. I doubt I'd have much fun playing RBY if I were to go through the games today, as the core gameplay isn't particularly engaging throughout the main game without even considering the stupid enemy movesets and enemy AI.
