When I was a kid I loved playing Sonic 3D Blast, but I could never beat the game. I remember one time after the console loaded the game it suddenly brought me to the level select, without me inputting any code, which really confused me. After that, I noticed other random times when the game would go to the level select screen seemingly on its own. Since I could never beat the game, and I had still not beaten the final boss through using the seemingly random level select cheat that kept happening, I have memories of resetting the game over and over again, hoping that it would come up but it never did. I never figured out what triggered the level select, even when I got older. Then I saw this video and my mind was fucking blown.
