So I picked up a Neo Geo Pocket Color recently with 8 games, and I am loving the shit out of this system, I actually think I may prefer the hardware to the Game Boy Color. Love the thumb stick, the games work well with just two buttons, and all the games I've tried so far are really good. Seriously, Sonic Pocket Adventure may be the best handheld Sonic game ever made, way better than the Game Gear games. And the Metal Slugs for it are awesome as well. Picked up a handful of the fighters for it and they all seem really great, too.

Really bummed this system didn't do better, as it's very well designed and all the games seem awesome. I was flipping through some old EGM's from around it's launch and it seems that the gaming press at the time totally ignored it.

So what's your experience with the Neo Geo Pocket color, /vr/? Any love?
