I don't mind them, I just hate it when they are completely fucking useless but just there to be cute.

And by useless I don't mean that they literally just don't do anything, I mean they are an actual playable character/partymember/whatever but would make Dan look like Bruce Lee in comparison to how useless they are from all the other characters.

That or the ones that actively get you into trouble that you need to now fix, because "Ha ha isn't it cute that they pushed this clearly booby trapped button because for some reason they thought it would dispense candy and now the ceiling is going to fall down on you?".
