I'm interested if anyone knows of a program used to transfer PS2 Memory Card saves to the PC using this adapter? I know the PS1 Memory Cards can use MemcardRex, but I can't find an equivalent for the PS2 Memory Cards.

I have this spicy boy and back up my saves to my PC. It is nice to buy memory cards on ebay or goodwill and being able to save someone's memories from being lost to the ages. Honestly the memcard pro would be more worth while if it was usable on the PS2, but even then I prefer having pic related.

>get one memory card
>get ps3 memory card adapter
>get pc software to transfer data around
>never need more than one memory card (except for unirom card)
Beautiful.

>The Dex Drive couldn't read that weird memory card nor access the GameShark so I had an official Sony memory card and transferred files to it for putting onto my PC for storage/back up.
I actually bought the PS3 adapter for $60 after taxes a few days ago. The dex drive is cheaper sure, but I hate having to plug in a power adapter every time I want to use it.

This device allows me to transfer it to my PS3. I don't think it will transfer to my PC. But I think you can transfer some of your PS1 saves to a USB stick using a PS3. I don't know if it will work since my PS3 needs to be fixed, so I have no way to test it.

Just get one of these and you can backup your PS1 and PS2 saves to a PS3. From there, you can move them to a flash drive or whatever.

This is the one I have. I'd imagine it would work with Mac. I use a PC. If you're using it for an emulator then it should work fine.
