Case in point, I didn't know Sonic CD existed until about 2004. My friend has SegaCD, so I tried Sewer Shark and thought wow this sucks dick, ending any interest I had in the platform.

However, I saw pic related in a magazine and was totally enraptured by the detail and art style. No idea at the time that it was Lunar or that it was for SegaCD.
