I love Dark Savior, very interesting game. The parallel system is cool, and I liked how you could capture monsters even if I almost always stuck with Garian anyway.

Dark Savior has a well-hidden 2-player versus mode you can unlock. You need to beat the 5th parallel and then start it again.

Xenogears has 2-player in the arena. Never tried it, but it seems like it'd be fun.
