It's not the fact that it's a gay furry dating sim that bothers me. It's the fact that they wanted to make it in the Doom engine.

I just can't wrap my head around this. Why the Doom engine? Why specifically that? How would that work out? What could the Doom engine possibly have that would some how make that easier to create?

I just... I just don't understand.
