Rareware game design:
Cooperative partners can spawn in different parts of map, free roam, and tackle different objectives as they see fit. Make sure nothing breaks, but allow as much freedom as possible.

2013 Game Design:
Funnel player 1 and player 2 down a corridor. Make sure both player experience the big set pieces. Make sure they can't move more than 20 meters apart.

(All a bit mixed up. Half the roms have had the dongle check removed, half are duplicate 'clean' dumps. The (E) region PD rom doesn't seem to work.)
