But really any Hori has a good dpad so you can pick one with analog too if you need it

Hori makes the best dpads

For modern gamepads, Hori has the best dpads.
They make a controllers for various platforms but for using on a PC probably the PS4 Fighting Commander makes the most sense since it can switch between Xinput and DirectInput.
They're also the ones who make the Pokken controller.

As as current products go, Hori d-pads are probably the best
They have a couple different controllers, some with analog sticks, some without

Hori Fighting Commander (PS4 & PC, DirectInput/Xinput toggle switch) has a 2.2cm dpad that feels great.
My preferred pad these days.

There's also a newer one with a more traditional shape and xinput support, though it seems to have lost the diagonals-tension adjust and d-pad angle adjust.
